Terms of Service

1. Marketplace Model & Banner Rentals

• Automated Swaps: Creators authorize subheader.lol via X (Twitter) OAuth to update their profile header banner automatically during approved 24-hour campaign slots.
• Slot Duration: Each rented slot runs for exactly 24 hours starting from the scheduled time (T=0 to T=24 hours). Upon slot completion, the creator's original backup header image is restored automatically.
• Creator Approval Right: Creators retain final approval over all submitted sponsor banners. A bid does not guarantee placement until the creator explicitly clicks "Approve".

2. Payments, Escrow & Refunds

• Escrow Processing: Sponsor payments are processed via Dodo Payments and held securely in escrow until the creator reviews the offer.
• Rejections & Cancellations: If a creator rejects a bid, or if a campaign fails to run due to profile authorization issues, 100% of the funds are refunded directly to the sponsor's original payment method.
• Platform Fees: SubHeader retains a 15% platform transaction fee upon successful slot completion. 85% is disbursed to the creator.

3. Content Policy & Acceptable Use

Sponsor banner submissions must NOT contain:

• Sexually explicit, violent, or illegal content.
• Hate speech, harassment, or defamatory statements targeting individuals or groups.
• Misleading scam links, malware downloads, or phishing landing pages.
• Copyright-infringing assets without proper licensing.

SubHeader reserves the right to cancel any campaign violating these guidelines and issue a refund.

4. Limitation of Liability

SubHeader operates using third-party APIs (including X/Twitter API v1.1 and v2). We are not liable for temporary service interruptions, third-party API rate limits, or account restriction actions taken independently by X.
